Politics in Tamil Nadu

Before Independence Tamil Nadu Was Under British Rule as a Part of Madras Presidency . The Only Political  Party Prior to Independence and Upto 1916 is Indian National Congress (INC) . Later  the South Indian Welfare Association, a forerunner to Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu,  was Formed in 1916 . Later It Was Called as Justice Party .
